- Compile a list of nominees for SRM Honor Awards annually and update a documentation file on nominees whose achievements in the science and art of range-related resource management qualify them for an award or citation by the Society.
- Compile and maintain a list of awards and citations offered by foundations, corporations, and other award-granting organizations outside the Society and their criteria for qualifications.
- Annually review the SRM Honor Awards program and make suggestions for improving the program to the Board of Directors.
