Position Announcement: Tenure Track Professor in Sustainability Science-Rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, Department of Ecosystem Science and Sustainability, Colorado State University

The Department of Ecosystem Science and Sustainability at Colorado State University invites applications for a tenure track professor in Sustainability Science at the rank of assistant or associate professor. We seek applications from candidates who have expertise in the role of how socio-economic factors constrain and provide opportunities for solving current sustainability challenges for social-ecological systems across multiple spatial and temporal scales.

We are especially interested in applicants with research that addresses the development of formal criteria and metrics, e.g., Life Cycle Assessment, to quantify and model sustainability. An emphasis on climate, land use and/or land cover change as constraints on sustainability coupled with experience planning and implementing sustainability programs with government or corporate organizations and/or multiple stakeholders, and experience working with ecosystem scientists and/or hydrologists on trans-disciplinary research are desirable.

Salary commensurate with experience. Deadline for applications is March 6, 2016. See http://jobs.colostate.edu:80/postings/30867 for full job description and qualifications.
